UK Outlook for Thursday 17 Feb 2011 to Thursday 3 Mar 2011:
The period should start relatively wet and unsettled in the north and
west, with drier conditions generally in the south and east. The mainly
southerly flow continues though throughout. Temperatures display a
north-south split with respect to average conditions, with northern
Scotland seeing above average temperatures, while the south of England and
Wales are nearer normal. After a wet start for some regions rainfall
amounts for the period look to settle down to become below average for
much of the country, with the east of England perhaps nearer normal.
Sunshine amounts should to be typical for February, though perhaps
slightly above average sunshine hours in the north of Scotland.
