Default 'Cone' shaped high cloud- South Coast

Having just returned from Hayling Island, there was what appeared to be a
fairly static 'conical' shaped Cirrus cloud fairly static most of the
afternoon. It appears to be on this afternoons Sat images - anyone else see
it ?

Fabulous day on the beach...

Yes, Phil.

I saw it too and have photo'd but am yet to check it out.

The cloud appeared to be situated above the southampton water area most of
the day. I was at Titchfield doing a bit of birdwatching in the warm sunny
conditions.

Yes, Phil, seen from Wokingham too. I think it was cirrus floccus with
virga. As you say, there were a couple of patches seen on this afternoon's
sat images. The cloud temperature measured about -25C.

I say this strange cloud too from littlehampton!
They looked to me like cirrus with a degree od shear to them.
Did anyone see a cirrus cloud like the top of a Cb?
It tracked the south coast from Portsmouth direction towards Littlehampton.
