Today (Fri 19th) was very hot across most of mainland Spain, with
temperatures over 35C across large parts of the country. Hottest maxima were in the SW, where Sevilla (Seville) and others recorded 42C. Tomorrow (Sat 20th), the heat is expected to move to the NE, with Zaragoza forecast to hit a max of 41C. Some all-time records for this part of the country could be broken. |

... Gavino's contributions are always welcome. Especially when Spain is having "interesting" weather. Thank you, Alan. I wasn't sure if anyone was interested in Spanish weather, so it's nice to get confirmation that at least one person is! I only report something when it's at least a little out of the ordinary. |

I've just updated that back-dated weather on my website for the weeks I was in Aruba. I se JFK (New York) had 142.5mm of rain on the 13th. Keep the posts coming Gavino, always love to hear from Spain, probably the Country I have most visited away from the UK and I intend to a lot more in the coming years. Then of course there is Guillermo Ballester Valor with one of the best weather sites on the web OGIMET, need I say more, I just wish I had a quickwe way of extracting the synops ;-) Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net "Weather Home & Abroad" |
