What global cooling? Britain is not the globe, and a few cold winters
and poor summers here cannot be taken as convincing evidence of global
cooling. Other regions of the world have had a very different experience
from ours.

Is this what the Met Office are saying? It would be helpful to provide a
link.

We shall see. The record of Met Office seasonal forecasts hasn't been
that great. (Nor have anybody else's, to be fair.)
