Default ODDS ON A WHITE X'MAS?

Will we have (another) white X'mas this year?
I suspect that this year the odds won't be quite so generous, but if
you had £5 going spare what would you do?

1.) Bet on a white one - and what would be your chosen location - I
believe that the bookies take bets on all locations and not just
London

2.) Bet against a white one

I suspect that I would go for a white one and probably choose
somewhere east coast south of the humber

Well I have had three white christmasses (snow on ground) in Haytor since
moving here in April 2002.
Haytor is a good bet at 3-1 I'd say!

9/2 against ATM with a couple of places for a white Christmas in
London. I believe the historical odds over the last century, or so,
are about 14/1. Hence: don't go near those odds with a bargepole!

I will be doing a double up here and betting also on the odds of the

I would bet against and here (Peterhead). How brave is that?

I think I'd go for Copley this year ;-).
We must be due some brisk Siberian north easterlies one year soon.

Hi, Dave,
No chance, I've already booked my Christmas Dinner on Bamburgh beach (;0)
