There's enough agreement and consistency for me to forecast that no
real cold will affect the UK out to almost the end of November, with 80% certainty. **On 27/11/11, 10 days hence, the UK will be experiencing Atlantic weather. The predominant wind direction will be between S and NW and most areas will be still experiencing conditions which show no particularly cold weather. The CET will be in close to record territory. Pressure will be higher to the south of the UK, than to our north and frosts will be limited, if not absent. Any snow will be confined to the Munro summits.** Winter may follow, but it is unlikely to happen in this timeframe. |

I'm confident about this forecast now, but the spell of Atlantic weather may not extend to long after the 27th. Indications of more meridionality, with pressure building in the Eastern towards the middlAtlantic may give the possibility of some different and possibly cooler weather. Still some distance away though. |

a bad forecast again on all counts
reason: copy cat all models pointed to those conditions the met 15 dayer had been saying that for weeks the CET was obvious no skill was required On 27/11/2011 1:13 PM, Dawlish wrote: On Nov 17, 7:57 pm, wrote: There's enough agreement and consistency for me to forecast that no real cold will affect the UK out to almost the end of November, with 80% certainty. **On 27/11/11, 10 days hence, the UK will be experiencing Atlantic weather.
