Well and truly established now. A mobile cold westerly right through well into December. Fast moving developmental lows, potentially stormy next Sunday into Monday with potential for heavy snowfalls in northern Britain and on hills further south. Exciting stuff! http://www.lyneside.demon.co.uk/Hayt...antage_Pro.htm Will Hand (Haytor, Devon, 1017 feet asl) --------------------------------------------- ================================================== ============= Yep, indeed, cold westerlies here now but do you think they'll last "right through well into December"? I see just as we get to the lower resolution of the GFS 12z ensembles that the model wants to bring us back to something more average around 8th... Definitely a much colder feel this afternoon here and so glad I had my winter coat and wooly hat! Max recorded in Dublin airport during day was 7c at 2pm and this falling now to 5c or lower. Hi Joe, yep I saw those ensembles, tendency I thought to be below normal looking at the clustering for Dublin. Colder trend than yesterday as well. Will -- |
