Default [OT] Picture of me Sunday 19th

Just to lighten the mood slightly, and you can all have a laugh, you know
how I go on about walking on a Sunday, well you can see the evidence from
last Sunday but one at
http://www.moorlandramblers.org.uk/p...%2019Feb12.jpg
I was leading this walk and I am third in from the right wearing the black
balaclava.
Some thought I was over-dressed, but when we got higher later they realised
I wasn't.
And yes, Phil, I am wearing my mittens, sorry :-)

Well one was a newbie to the group, but yes I take your point.
Not good for the image is it? :-)
My excuse is that as I was leading I needed to keep warm to keep my wits
about me on the river crossings, ah well that's my story anyway.

I was going to say - all the men are wearing headgear, but several of the
women aren't !

Hi, Will,
Certainly lightened the mood!
You're not thinking of moving to Teesdale wearing gear like that though,
surely (;0)

Perhaps they have enough natural head covering to make headgear
unnecessary?

LOL, certainly not Ron. The outside air temperature at the time of the photo
was +1C in sunshine but with -5C wind chill. Later on we had a few snow
flurries and some of the ladies donned thicker coats and hoods. At home it
was a toasty 14C in the house when I got back, so I was able to strip off my
layers and sit down in comfort and put my feet up for a well earned rest.
