If I've got the right place, then there is an Outdoor Education Centre around 200 m amsl (roughly 600ft) in the Ashdown Forest, so given the conditions yesterday, it could have been rather bleak! Martin. Yes it is on the western edge of the Ashdown Forest, in the High Weald. According to my OS map the outdoor centre lies between the 190 and 200m contours, the 200m contour is a tiny little circle next to the road.. |
