With this low jet stream pattern repeating over and over again, I'm
seriously beginning to wonder whether the north of Scotland is
becoming the most reliable place in the UK, and indeed the whole of
Northwestern Europe, for summer weather! ISTR the NW of Scotland in
particular having a few dry summers of late.

Even considering that I'm genuinely surprised that we're looking at
25C up there today - I didn't think the airmass was warm enough.

I'll do a swop! Better a small flat in the sun (not being patronising
am I?), than a mansion in endless gloom drizzle and chill.

Actual was 24 - sorry about the guess - my eyes were addled from having
been sunbathing.

Property is dirt cheap now in Spain - however, I would never buy here!

But around 200 miles further south it's grey, overcast and cool. We
might have just and only very briefly got above 10C today.

Some what suprised at a 25/24C max for Gianna, in this NE'ly air flow
but at this time of year if there is no cloud it soon warms up.

Hi, Gianna,
Nice one, more like 10C!
Aberdeen and Lossiemouth seem to be trailing you by some margin lol.
