Default June rainfall

We reached 100mm of rain so far this June here in Coventry after just 16 days; with rainfall records for the city dating back to 1870, we have a long way to go still to match the 2007 record of 178mm, but you never know!

best wishes

Just to clarify, are you defining "average" as the monthly average or
the 16 day average?

38% based on the cumulative average over 30 years for the first 16 days of June, Adam.

Even worse down here - Bournenouth (Hurn) has had 191% of average June
rainfall already, and less than a quarter of the average sunshine for June.
From the latest model output i think the latter figure will improve a
little.

Jim.
