Yes, I blame the Coalition Govt - we still have a Drought Order here. Do you think if it's rescinded we'll get our summer weather back?

Yes, they are saying keep a close eye on it. Been a few "cry wolfs" here
lately but needs watching.

When we came to Epping it was Lea Valley water, then Three Valleys and
now Veolia. They also seem to like dry areas.
A map
Veolia Water is certainly a scattered group.

I should have added a smiley there, Dave. No, I'm with George under Veolia. Mind you, I haven't needed the hosepipe this year. My water butt and 3 dustbins for the overspill have kept up with all my needs, so far.

Yes, the garden has been the main benefactor this summer.

A bit of intra-run variability but the NAE set on a fair wadge of rain -
e.g. last 5 runs @ 06z tomorrow thanks to the excellent weatheronline site:

Yes exciting stuff. May well be an MCS in there too. I think it is northern
England/east Anglia that is going to cop it! Fascinating summer so far, I
have to say.
