Cloud has built up over Farnborough from about noon, and thunder heard to
the east as well, but from the radar it looks as if some interesting (and
unforecast) weather might just miss you.

John in Cranleigh might have something to report though.

No rain here though a glance at the radar would make one think
there ought to have been some. A few rumbles 1248-1255 BST. This is
fast-moving upper-level stuff.

Indeed we did just miss it. A few drops though. Moved along quite
smartly. Looking all clear atm. Tx 28.8c so far.

Unfortunately I was visiting a friend in south London yesterday (Penge,
to be precise). There were some rumbles of thunder there around 1:30 to
2pm and a little rain. (There was also some rain at Lord's around 1pm.)

There was no sign when I returned home around 8pm that there had been
any rain, but then I imagine that surfaces would have dried quickly so
that's not conclusive.
