John in Cranleigh might have something to report though. Roger |

John in Cranleigh might have something to report though. Unfortunately I was visiting a friend in south London yesterday (Penge, to be precise). There were some rumbles of thunder there around 1:30 to 2pm and a little rain. (There was also some rain at Lord's around 1pm.) There was no sign when I returned home around 8pm that there had been any rain, but then I imagine that surfaces would have dried quickly so that's not conclusive. -- John Hall "The beatings will continue until morale improves."
