No good to man or beast Will.

I would not advise it.

Yes, frozen ground often makes ideal walking conditions, almost as easy
as taking a stroll along the pavement. Much preferable to going squelch
squelch squelch through sticky mud.

UKMO AKA Weather Action? That is slanderous - please send your details
to St Piers' head office!

Still forecasting sub -10C wind chill at altitude later this week. Also
heavy snow is predicted on Friday for Dartmoor. I'm relishing the prospect!
I'll take heed of the warnings though and wrap up warmly, so don't worry!

How many forecasts of heavy snow getting 24 hours later each day, does one need to mention before calling it right once?

The drifts on Dartmoor are already so deep that normal human function has been rendered impossible.

He's already taken a nasty tumble on Dartmoor and that was not in icy
conditions.
Heaven knows what will happen on ice.
Will he never learn?
