That is as observed in both dramatic contrasts & overall cooling. The last three months make it clear as well as the criminal brainwashing bias of the BBC. Australia was hot compared with normal while Asia and most of Europe were ASTOUNDINGLY COLD. Asia is 5.8 times the area of Australia and EurAsia is 7.1 times.. The BBC blathered on and on about Australian heat but largely ignored Asian cold even though Eurasian cold vastly dwarfed Australia heat. I don't know about Asia, but "most of Europe"? Where do you get that
from? Apart from the UK and neighbouring areas, my own impression is
that over the last three months most of Europe has been warmer than
average. I haven't seen even a brief period where "astoundingly cold"
would be an accurate description.

If Piers hypes past weather or simply gets it wrong, why should we trust
his forecasts?

I haven't seen Feb. data yet, but as far as December and January are concerned, your assertions are absolute and utter nonsense - to put it politely. Take a pill and calm down.
