14 June 2013.olar lows dog british weather but looking at the south
pole I am still wondring what happens to all the weather that arrives there. Beautiful but meaningless. Obviously the stuff all jets off somehow -but how. When a cyclone is forced up over the two and three mile high coastline and interior, heat will be gained despite the altitude. Which may explain the temperature inversion at the South Pole. But where does all the wind go to? Can someone point me to a source that explains how to unravel the charts for the upper atmosphere there please? |

I am afraid that all of the meteorologists have left. Don't be afraid. I am still here. So we can all learn something useful. Oddly the 200 hPa seem to be capable of squashing isobars just like a good one. I may be able fathom it out on my own. |
