Sunny here on the coast this morning, with some sizeable Cu developing down the spine of the Lizard, now a veil of high cloud though.

Over the 'warm' sea (well 18-19C) the air is now very unstable with some narrow towering Cu. With only a very light SSE wind, there's a good chance of a north coast sea breeze setting in, if it does so it could prove interesting.

A very muggy 20.3C currently. We've completely lost the excellent visibility & sharp colours ofthe last 2 days.

The temperature has increased somewhat since 12.00 in Colchester, Essex.

I make it 28.6 in my back garden ATM.

Yep - 28.8C and sunny almost all day. Bit different from the 21C and
rain forecast. Think we will be third time lucky this evening though.
