I'm sure I've replied to you a few times in the past about your tremendous rainfall totals? I read most posts on uksw on the occasions I pop in, which should increase now that autumn's coming and I'm indoors more. Best wishes, Ken Copley, Teesdale |

Webcam and weather:- http://windycroft.co.uk/weather The pier certainly looks to have taken some hammering from the weather and the Clyde since I last saw it about 30 years ago. Not long closed then, I believe. I was living in Cardross 1980-1986 and often passed by en-route to Helensburgh or beyond. I guess your site at Whistlefield is not far from the 'Green Kettle', assuming its is still there after all these years. Dick Lovett Charlbury (Oxfordshire Cotswolds) |

The Green Kettle is still in business but it's now a bit run down. -- Alan White Mozilla Firefox and Forte Agent. By Loch Long, twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow, Scotland. I must add that I also read them, since I moved to Portincaple last year. Your OBS mean I did not set up my own AWS, which is languishing in the garage. Must sort that out. :-) -- John Reid Email in headers is invalid use my name at reids(dot)me(dot)uk |
