Default Wet, wet, zonal weather and no end in sight = flood problems.

70mm of rain over the last 7 days in Teignmouth and lots more to come before the weekend. weather warnings in place Thurs/Fri for more rain and nothing in the outlook to suggest the threat of rain will ease over the next 10 days. The ground is getting very wet and I know we aren't the wettest area too. Flood warnings beginning to stack up. Got to be some flooding/landslip problems to come before November in the SW/S.wales and perhaps other areas too, unfortunately.

Move East young man. Sod all rain here for months. Managed a couple of mm today, but the real stuff keeps on missing us.

Hi, David,
The north-east rain shadow, great isn't it (:0)
Not reached our October average rainfall here yet either. Could do with some sunshine mind!
Best wishes,

Seems that post upset things!
20mm overnight and now October is above normal with 110mm(116%) and a "flooding possible" down at the Lead Mill:-
