He was accused of bullying in the backstabbery that was going on in the BBC back then. Maybe he had threatened to spill some beans in a cupboard that Auntie wanted kept shut. Since he left, the BBC forecasts have really become abysmal. But that is due to the management. Obviously having scientific integrity affects how many commercials they can sell. Or do I mean licenses? I'd love to know what he had to say about those green charts they used when he was in charge. Sadly any discussion of the subject on the BBC notice boards was quickly re-edited to follow the party line. It took me long enough to get out of room 101. It must have been hard for him. |

Cheers, Alastair. |

We are in a mess but it isn't technology driving it. It is the lack of control of business and government over business and government. From hat I have been analysing over the last few weeks it is the mechanism they use to keep us at each other's throats so they can blithely sail on the ship of fools undaunted. But there is a limit to how much they can rape and pillage before the wheels of commerce and government come off the wagon. Your Glowballs is powered by de-forestry and outright desertification. What is going on now in California occurred in Africa in the 1970's. It is a rondello that only has one answer: The orders we were given initially, to have everything in subjection and extend Eden. If, as seems likely, we have only one habitable planet in the known universe, what sort of agencies could possibly be involved in destroying it? And how far do you imagine we can go in that direction? The way that heavy industry works still requires relatively pure metal ores and there are only a finite source of them. If you consider that as a starting point, how much damage is it possible to do to the environment -even if all arms of all those industries were working flat-out? A microcosm of what is happening on all planets every cycle of their days. Until mankind sees the hand of god in all this mumbo jumbo and political bull**** neither you nor an army of concerned individuals will ever tap into the answer. You are being played like a fish. Now pull your bloody finger out and start working with the good guys! |
