I used to like this group when it was generally peaceful, and very
informative group. Then April 2008 dullish broke thks NG's back and
it's not be right since. :-(

Can't argue with that, and people are entitled to defend themselves against his persistent rudeness and bullying.

People are entitled to defend themselves against people who send the foulest emails possible, try to stir up the newsgroup to bully and get rid of someone and people should *always* stand up against racists in any walk of life.

Now tell me they shouldn't.

Oh the irony! This from the man who suggested Lawrence leave the newsgroup a few years ago: the first time I'd ever seen someone suggest such a thing on Usenet. Hypocrite.

Personalities aside the beauty of it is that you can ignore the noise and just discuss the weather. The group did seem to be losing its attraction but there are still too many experts on here to be able to ignore it - opinions of whom help greatly in my continued learning of meteorology.
Richard, I sent you a couple of emails recently - did you receive them?

Alternatively, those who keep claiming they are being subjected to rudeness and bullying
can behave more maturely and ignore those they believe to be responsible.

Exactly just use the killfile, or if you must use google, just ignore.

People ignored the Jews being bullied by the Nazis. It's never a good
decision to turn a blind eye to bullies.

According to "Godwin's Law", you've just lost the argument!
