Abuse like this constitutes verbal abuse and as a consequence is a criminal offence.
Before reporting him to the police would the moderator ban him.

In common with most newsgroups, there /is/ no moderator. You may think
it's regrettable, but that sort of verbal abuse has always been common
on newsgroups. You could report him to the police yourself, of course,
but don't you think that you are overreacting? I very much doubt that
the police would take any action.

Especially if Martin is a ****wit too. I always thought he was quite sensible until he started listening to the flowerpot men. He used to quote me all the time. (And anyone/everyone else who had a right answer at the appropriate time.)Just because he has never had an original thought of his own, there is no reason to ban him is there?
