I've been ill and spent 12 hrs less in bed than I had thought. It's 1.19 a.m. What a ****! Tudor Hughes You said it! :-) Get well soon. Reminds me of the effects that shift-work had on me years ago, the confusion of waking up in mid-winter darkness and wondering whether I'd got to dash to get ready for a morning shift or I had a couple of hours to spare before wandering off to start a night shift. Then there was the afternoon after a night shift when I was walking from the car park to Stowmarket High Street and I had to stop someone to ask her what day it was in case it was early closing and the shops would be shut. +1 to that! I'm glad I'm not the only one - though I never had to ask someone what day it was though.... |
