In message , Sir
Jim Cannon writes This from another group doesnt applie to WeahtrAction as their forecasts are right much much more than many others out there. Go see for youelves https://groups.google.com/d/msg/weat...s/IA_kCfAxBAAJ As Wikipedia tells us: 'Metrology is "the science of measurement, embracing both experimental and theoretical determinations at any level of uncertainty in any field of science and technology"'. So I don't know what these metrologists can have done to cause accusations of lying. -- John Hall "One can certainly imagine the myriad of uses for a hand-held iguana maker" Hobbes (the tiger, not the philosopher!) |

Why do you claim to be a knight when you aren't? Is it make you seem more important than you really are? If that's the case it's fraud, with all that implies. |

Just look at the state of the typos in the OP. Even by the standards of their illiterate rants this one is exceptionally bad... Metrologists are not infallible though. The speed of light as a function of time with error bars is a salutary lesson in that! Basically a very famous experimentalist applied a correction for imperfect vacuum with the wrong sign and everybody later followed his method gradually narrowing the standard deviation without questioning it wrt systematic errors until a new microwave based technique saw a jump in the speed of light with even tighter error bars. -- Regards, Martin Brown |
