First we need a definition - how about a fall of 0.5" (12.7mm) in a day
for the dry parts of southern England? I'll start the ball rolling, and say Oct 28th. -- Paul Hyett, Cheltenham Email to pahyett[AT]activist[DOT]demon[DOT]co[DOT]uk |

It is causing damage to the environment.
That's an interesting point. Is it possible for the environment to cause damage to the environment. ;-) Well said. I was going to post the same comment myself. It IS the environment. All a bit philosophical, I suppose. As to the sweepstake, the definitions are too slack. I know what's being said, but it's just as well money isn't involved. :-) Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, Surrey. |

I got 22mm in one day (22 Sep) but nothing worthwile up to late July before or up to now. We need several days of rain in a row surely. Or just a month with 50mm? |
