0730: Rain and snow. Quite large flakes. Not settling.

Flakes of snow on the previously melted paths have persisted so it looks as though surface temps may have dropped below zero again so may be some ice. Drops of water on clothes-line also look as though they may have refrozen. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks. The wind - if it can be called that - is a gentle drift from the north, judging by the exhaust from a nearby central-heating chimney. I don't have thermometers but I'd judge the temperature and dew-point to be PS 0.0 judging by the way snow on shed roofs is hanging around. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks. Flakes now larger but still fairly small. Intensity increased but still light. Settling on roofs and grass but not paths. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks.
