Default Copley gale 19/9/2018

Hi, All,
First gale of the autumn here. I suspect, by the direction of WSW that there is some Pennine lee wave influence involved - there usually is when Copley has a gale.

Highest 10min so far is 25035G49KT at 12:20Z

The graphs for quite a few stations round here have gone over 90km/hr at
1400. It is shaking the oak trees violently as they are still in leaf.

Possibility of 70KT+ in next couple of hours due to marked lee wave effect.
