GISS global temperature anomaly for March is +1.18C (+1.38C against Met
Office "Pre-Industrial" average). 2016 was +1.36 (+1.56) and 2017 +1.15 (+1.35). 12-month average ending March 2019, +0.88 (+1.08), was the 3rd highest behind 2016, +0.98 (+1.18), and 2017, +0.96 (+1.16). I wrote this on 'Weather and Climate'. 'A relatively big rise from February, probably as the weak El Nino conditions begin to kick in. I didn't expect March to come in at the 6th warmest month since records began. Exceptionally warm, given where we are in the ENSO cycle.' https://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/t...LB.Ts+dSST.txt |
