southern England and East Anglia, and all the highest in NW England and SW Scotland - presumably largely because those regions were the least dull and wet. -- John Hall Yes, fairly sunny by the look of the sat imagery - and the warmth accentuated by shelter due to the wind direction too - Bridgefoot is west of the Lake District Fells, Myerscough is north of Preston, Auchincruive just inland from Ayr / Prestwick. Julian Molesey I'm currently at Coniston in the Lake District and can confirm that Sunday was a gorgeous warm day with lots of sunshine. The highest I noticed on the campervan thermometer was 17.5C. When I have had the opportunity to check it, it seems to be fairly accurate. Another super warm day today with lots of sunshine. Raining this evening, though. -- Norman (usually in Tideswell) |
