Less than or barely 20 miles away to the WNW in Didsbury, south Manchester, it has been completely dry throughout
(no rain for about 10 days now). It is and has been cloudy but often bright and now (1240) the sun is trying to break
through a few tiny cloud breaks just appearing. It is warm and muggy and windless.

for much of the day. The cloud has become more broken
since 1600z and we're now getting some sunny periods.
It has been muggy during the afternoon with a max
temp of 21.6C. The first 5 days of June produced 41.7
hours of sunshine. Very unusual for Tideswell!
