Default First snow on a car roof, Aberfeldy

Well I was excited to see snow on a landrover in Aberfeldy this morning for
the first time since last winter.

We have had snow lying above 1200 feet or so today

I also had my first below freezing temp inside my Office as i opened up this
morning. It took me to half way through Ken Bruce to get it above 10 C!

and the housemartins left a couple of days ago just as the blackbirds came
back

Its all going on in Perthshire

There was a report on the local lunch-time news about snow causing
problems north and east of Aviemore and a few road accidents with
jack-knifed trucks etc.

They mentioned on BBC Five Live that the A96 (?) was closed due to 4" of
snow! They also mentioned problems on the A9 around Slochd - I would
have thought that they'd be used to snowy weather up there!

Indeed we are, but the new, privatised snow clearing contractors are
from the South!!!
Need I say more?

1cm. of lying snow here at 0700z.

Yes, in the Glens of Foudland.

We are - but 'they' are protecting (us from) all the non-natives who aren't
used to it )

depends on the landrover. Remember there is a metal skin and no insulation
on the inside on some models. You can face a rain of melting condensation as
things warm up on frosty mornings. I have seen passengers sitting under open
umbrellas

Well, the roof of a landrover is at a greater altitude than the roof of an
ordinary saloon car parked next to it.
