Default [WR] Heavy thundery showers: 155.7 mm/h

Some light thundery showers during the night were followed by a heavier one
about an hour ago, when peak rainfall intensity reached 155.7 mm/h and 7.9
mm were accumulated in 15 minutes. Some pictures from the outdoor market
(~10 am):

And, most places in Athens exceeded their climatic rainfall averages for
November in two rain shower events. The constant c-c and c-g lightning show
ended after 18 hours. 56.1 mm of rain at this site, 81.2 mm at Helioupolis.

Yes, LGAV is the international airport (El. Venizelos International Airport,
at Spata). LGAT (WMO ID: 16716, at the Ellinikon area) used to be the
international airport until March 2001. I can't find the WMO ID of LGAV
right now, as the HNMS pages seem to be temporarily unavailable. Do you need
it? Shall I try again later on?
All Athens data that appear on weatheronline are for the 16716 station,
where the HNMS establishments are situated.
