Can anyone spare me some aurora pics for displaying to the local
astronomical society? I'll give full credits on the powerpoint
presentation, plus details of any website they are posted on.

PS Mike Tullett: I've sent an email asking permission for one of yours, but
I gather that Karoo's email server is the subject of some frantic work,
restoring the smtp server to full use after a barrage of spam, it's anyone's
guess when you'll get it!

Rob - yes take what you need - my incoming mail server (if sent to NTL) is
playing up badly today. Outgoing from me is fine, as I run my own SMTP
server. That can help overcome *some* of the server delays we seem to be
having of late.

Taken somewhat before I landed at the airport - have found Orion just
rising in one of them. I'm very impressed - camera? Tech details?

Hi,

I used a Nikon Coolpix 990 on a tripod, S (speed) mode, F2.5, exposure 8
sec (the max I can afford using the timer), ISO200.
The levels were slightly adjusted in Photoshop (better contrast).
