Hi.
We had three very very active storms pass over and around Surfleet South Lincs last night at about 22:00hrs. Some of the most impressive lightning I have EVER seen. I jumped in the car and went off to a good vantage point to watch them. Had one strike hit so close to the car, whilst I was sat there, it made the engine revs splutter. Also the same flash was so bright it made my eyes red out which was really strange for a few seconds. I wont try to explain about the following strength of the clap of thunder ! I nearly sh1t me sen ! I counted the time between flashes and on average it was 1 second for at least 1hr.
