I've heard that with the high pressure advancing down the country and the
low pressure advancing up the country they will meet in the Midlands and this could bring considerable snowfall. Is there any truth in this and could there be considerable snowfall for Wolverhampton, or any places in the Midlands Mike |

Where the two meet there is likely to be some precipitation. The forecasters' latest estimate is that this meeting will be over southern counties of England late Sunday through Monday. The Midlands may well see some of this precipitation but it is by no means certain. My guess is that if it is light it will probably be of rain. If there are any heavier outbreaks it could well turn to snow, especially later. I don't think we'll see any substantial falls of snow, just snow showers, with sub zero temps. Though it's better than a poke in the eye ;-) Joe |
