A friend of mine pointed out another pathetic piece of hype in the Sun
newspaper this time. The story told of a monster freeze in the next few days with temperatures plunging!! Who writes this crap? More to the point who allows this crap to be printed?? I have put everyone at ease who may be have been worried by the story by telling them it's February, Winter's over (at least until March) and if anything the temperature will be rising over the next few days. -- Graham |

Graham. I can assure you that you have not put everyone at ease, because the
first question I would ask is how are you any better qualified at saying it wont happen than the person who said it would. Think about it??? I dont wish to appear to be pedantic, but do any of us really know??? Best regards. Len. "Graham" wrote in message ... I would thing that the majority in this group do 'really know' on this occasion and are better qualified than the 'Sun' reporter. Who it was he probably misquoted is something we'll never know. Mr Fish got it totally wrong within six hours in October 87. and how long
has he been in the game? However John I do take your point along with Grahams and I do respect yours and other posters views on this group. As since first reading this newsgroup I have gained a wealth of knowledge, and thank all of you for that. Best regards. Len. "John Whitby" wrote in message ... "Weatherman" wrote in message ... Actually Weatherman you could be right.. if something drastic happened to
the sun, moon, earth etc. Or an Asteroid hit us etc. Something on that scale. But if everything remained in sync, no, the computer models are too accurate over 48 hours... e.g they would be able to pick up such a major development with ease, in the situation we are in *at the moment* .. e.g strong blocking high etc. Of course, if we were in a different pattern .. e.g. October 87, that would be different. ---------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- "Weatherman" wrote in message ...
