Anyone know why the Met Office radar page is broken and has been for at
least 24 hours now if not more? - the BBC one is OK - you'd expect the
source to be OK.

Hi James,
it's still updating ok on the on the Aviation Briefing Service so it must

Alan

Thanks Alan. I am assuming it's not a specific ISP problem, but the
images are not available on the Met Office home page - clicking on
rainfall, having said that probably a certain member here will have a
word in the ear of someone and it will be fixed even as I write!

Cheers,
James

Have done like others now, perhaps the volume will get something going.

.... hopefully, but it's probably worth remembering that many web pages
aren't supported operationally, i.e. they will only be attended to on a
Mon-Fri basis.

.... another reason to get the fault logged ... products available via
the External site should be properly supported.

That seems odd, not to have 24/7 technical support for popular
webpages and/or those fed by almost realtime data (including the free
radar pages). Especially for such a large and well respected
organisation as the Met Office. Even Avbrief manage to fix broken
stuff at weekends.
