Default Current May CET

Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone knew what the May CET stands at as I believe
that we have been somewhat down on the average temps!

Thanks,

Jeremy

10.0șC exactly (up to this morning). That's 1.3 degC below the
mean for 1971-2000 for the whole of May, but almost exactly
spot on the mean for the first ten days of May. With only a few
exceptions, nights haven't been particularly cold.

Very interesting, Philip. So it's unlikely for May 2004 to be below average
overall then providing this long wave trough moves off.
