17th to 24th July

New Moon on the 17th at 11:24

A ridge of high pressure from the Azores took its time getting here but
gave lovely weather when it finally did.

There were some heavy showers and severe thundery spells that came with
it. In parts of the UK there were flash floods.

What lovely weather? Which part of the country is this summary (if you
can call it that) for?

What the hell is the point of your post?

Jon your posts never show up in the server I use to access most
newsgroups. Exactly why that is I do not know.
Regarding the following:

"What lovely weather? Which part of the country is this summary (if you
can call it that) for?

I have "enjoyed" some warm if somewhat humid weather the last few days.
Whilst I have to admit some have suffered during that spell for reasons
included in my original post, parts of Europe have been having unusually
warm weather. I called it a summary because I could. There was nothing
iffy about it.

If there is a point on any of my posts then they would be stakes would
they not? I believe that my posts apart from being a little abrasive
from time to time are well within the framework for this group. If you
don't like them don't read them.

(For those with a taste for the out

Today we had a nice soft rain all day long, a change in the weather as
it were. Not knowing the exact spell that this new phase should have (or
did) usher in, I failed to post an alert on sge about a weather forecast
that showed an occlusion running along the Channel was likely to bring
some fireworks today.

A case of a certain je ne sais quoi leading to ne plus ultra (the
perfect or most extreme example) of an expert being caught unawares.
Merely being an adept of course does not mean one is a god. There was a
large earthquake in Sumatra (7.2 M )

Coincidence?

Thaumaturgy depends from it.

In my defence I did warn the world that July would provide some
fireworks. It is not up to me to do more is it?)

Now do tell us prey, what is the reason your posts are semi-secret.

Default Summary

Summary
25th to 30th July.

25th July at 03:37 there was a quarter moon. If the phase had been at
03:00 then it would have brought a thunder spell for sure. If at 04:00,
the inclination would have been toward prolonged Lows with a lot more
rain.

I think we had something of a mixture of those two spell types:

25th
First Quarter 03:37. Light rain. It rained all day with a fine lightness
that was not that unpleasant. Warm.

There was a 7.2 M earthquake in Sumatra. (These things tend to interfere
with my forecasts. Did anyone notice a certain lack of clarity with the
professional ones at this time?)

26th
With the drops small and the temperature warm, this weather was not that
unpleasant. Mind you I wasn't out in it much.

27th
It was the same drizzly rain again in the morning but seemed to clear up
later in the day, though still overcast.

28th
This spell has been humid but this day was the worst. Not unbearable but
not easy. Warm and sunny all day.

29th
Nice day though somewhat humid. Sunny in the morning and overcast in the
afternoon.

30th
Back to the light rain one last time. In the afternoon it became warm
and sunny again. Not so humid due to a light breeze.

Ah Michael. If the weather is determined by phasing of the moon, and we know
the phases. What's the forecast for the 23rd of August?
Better still October 3rd. If I may jump the gun. For I want to understand
