4 flashes in one minute, distant rumble and a friend informs me of a deluge
ten miles to my S, sounds ominous !

Over here in South Witham, I had 5 or so flashes, no thunder. Very light
rain, now stopped.

Heavy rain lasted 15mins, torrential for about 2mins, either side a couple
of minutes of light rain. Twelve flashes altogether, thunder still rumbling
and a very annoyed Joe after spending an hour this evening with the
sprinkler on.
