Had the same here Tom - just as I was going to sleep - almost thought I was

Well there's a bit of moderate rain on the radar over you Tom. Perhaps
this
accounts for the CB reported at Stansted ?! A quick look at the mesoscale
on
the MetO aviation site shows a shower over London way at midnight GMT.
