Here in the "home of the raindrop"

Max 17.2
Min 14.8
Rain 9.4 mm to 1800 today.

First measurable rain (we had some light drizzle a few mornings) since
30th Aug.

Today was cloudy all day with outbreaks of heavy rain. Fog for a while this
afternoon.

Much the same here. Something of a surprise given the threatening nature
of the rainfall radar at 8:30BST, which suggested to me that there would
be some hours of at least moderate, and probably at times heavy, rain to
come for south-east England.

I'm upto 0.4mm so far this September, 0.2 dew yesterday and 0.2mm
shower this morning.
