3 cms lying from mostly light but persistent snow overnight.
Current temp -0.3c with very light snow still falling, very little wind.

Certainly not the well over hyped blizzards which were forecast!!

Looking at the latest radar maybe a chance of something a little heavier
heading our way.

About the same here Graham, persistent snow overnight, giving about an inch
of lying snow.

on soapbox
Does this mean the poor wee little bairns be off school, throwing snowballs
at the buses and causing other mischief?
off soapbox

Default snow North Leeds, Alwoodley

Here at 500ft in north Leeds ,snow is level at 3 inches at 8-30am, looking
at radar we could get 3 more inches ,however if the hype was to be believed
from the BBC weather guy Paul Hudson we should have had widespread
disruption in Yorkshire ,however only in the higher parts is this happening
, (not so unusual).
