Default Some serious rain about (16:00, 18th)

Not seen such a wide cover of moderate rainfall on the radar as at the
moment for a long time.

Been raining here since about midday; getting steadily heavier. Moderate for
last 2 - 3 hours. Temp down to 5C. Must be getting good deal of snow on
hills.

Rain? What rain?

It's been a pleasant (if a bit dull) mildish and entirely dry day here
on the South Coast, 10+ degrees C. Dry throughout daylight hours, nice
dry slot.

Just a bit of light drizzle here at Haytor :-)
A mere 7 mm today !
Air temperature at 1915 an amazingly warm 10.6 deg C (I kid you not !) I
reckon it will crash down when the front goes through.

Will.

Only 3.2 mm of rain here in Fareham (00h - 00h). Current temperature
+3.5 deg C. I dunno what all the fuss is about!

Not much happened west of you in Dorset: somewhat disappointing
really. One thing will result - some headlines may say that 'there is
worse to come this winter' after what has happened!
