Default Was I the warmest ?

14.4°c my maximum temperature today, I notice that on the "This is"
series of weather daily weather extremes Shoeburyness came in as
14.2°c. I also picked up 3.83 hours of sunshine.

Anyone got warmer that this today ?

13.9 in Penzance Keith, with no sun at all. It's just topped 14 degrees
today with a few glimpses of the sun through the mist. The minimum
temperature for the last 2 nights was 11.5 & 11.4.

The last 6 days 17-22 November have seen 13.1, 13.6, 13.8, 10.0 (although it
had reached 12.4 by the time I did my reading at 09:00 the following day),
13.5 & 13.9 respectively, with the lowest minimum 6.7 on 19th.

Still waiting for anything remotely like a cold spell. Frosts have always
been few and far between here, but in the 7 years 1998-2004 I have only
recorded 37 air frosts (5 per year). It's quite interesting looking back at
the 1931-60 data to see just how much things have changed.

I had to read that twice Brendan, I thought it said " Buy me a Whiskey" :-)

I must wear my prescription glasses more often now!

It did. Read it a third time :-)

Note that it is Whiskey WITH an E as opposed to Whisky without an E.
BIG difference ;-)
