Sunday's heat
Glad to say it's cooler and fresher in Coventry this morning!
The maximum temperature on Sunday reached 31.1C on Sunday, making this the hottest June day since 1995 (31.2C). In our records for Coventry going back to 1892, only 4 June days have been hotter: 1976 32.4C 1947 32.3C 1941 32.2C 1995 31.1C An impressive (or should I say oppressive?) day! -- Steve Jackson Bablake Weather Station Coventry UK http://www.netlink.co.uk/users/bws |
