Default Early Warning of Heavy Rain

The GFS 23060500z run are showing CAPE in low thousands and LI -4 for
the south of England 12z Friday. One to watch.

Time for the BBC to forecast "light showers - take an umbrella"

Here we go again??

I see they are still calling it an Advanced Warning in the text when
obviously it should be an Advance Warning.

Don't you mean show maps of blue rain puddles and rain falling from above the
clouds LOL. I won't be watching the BBC though, the InterNet is the best source
for weather nowadays.

.... you don't want to know what it takes to change something like that
in a large organisation. With a home web site you simply open up the
template/page and make the change ......

I watched the bbc weather last night, they've got the wind back but
nothing resembling a pressure chart... simply dreadful. atm the models
look quite promising for The South if you're into rotating single cells
spewing out heavy rain, lightning, tornadoes and hail.

Meanwhile I'm off to hug a wind generator or two, oops, wrong channel (:

But the template is correct. The text body contains the error.

.... consider the first two lines of the body of the warning - it is the
same format every time - tends to suggest a template?

Martin.

The BBC corrected the missing apostrophe ("Tuesdays Weather" [sic]) in their
previous incarnation of the weather forecasts on BBCi in response to an
email from yours truly, and presumably in response to the squeals of many
other irate pedants. That error must have been templated so if the BBC can
do it, I'm sure the Met Office can.
