Default Penzance - Sea Breeze today

All hopes of a temperature record gone, we have a sea breeze.

Reached around 27 at 12:30, since then it's dropped back to 24.5. It will
probably rise again later, as the north coast sea breeze strengthens, and
the south coast one weakens. It's a daily cycle we get here, probably due to
the SE aspect of the south coast heating faster in the morning, and the NW
aspect of the north coast getting stronger afternoon heating. Sometimes, as
yesterday, the north coast sea breeze reaches Penzance early evening.

Feels much more pleasant than yesterday's oppressively still heat.

Graham

That's a shame Graham, or is it?

Now what time of day does the convergence of the sea breezes begin.

Oh BTW did you read, IIRC it was last Thursday's (7th) Cornish Guardian as
I've been sent a few cuttings from it regarding the St.Merryn storm. I will
contact you with the local's views on that event, when the parents arrive
back next week as I'm hearing many interesting stories all the time.

Regards from the now warmer than you, Newbury.

Tony
Newbury, Berkshire
25.5c and still rising with endless blue skies.
