I was up for most of the eclipse but didn't see much because of the fog

Coastal Central California is always fogged in during significant
summertime astronomical events.
Including Fourth of July fireworks

I'm sure someone in Seattle Weather Control will be losing their job for
letting this eclipse slip through unobscured. I s'pose they could just
crash my hard drive for the same end result...

Luckily Fog isn't much of an issue here ;-)

I used to enjoy my Drives down Hwy 1 in the Mornings from the S.F Bay
area, be it on 2 or 4 Wheels. The Fog made sections look almost surreal and
unearthly.

This is an incredibly beautiful shot. I was too lazy to get up and watch it
but I heard it was a sight to see.
