Default On a Clear Day...

....you can see forever but in the river valley (there is a river down there)
it wasn't so you can't. And a small reminder of when you can. Most of
Calgary was sunny but the forecast is for lots of rain tonight turning to
snow by morning. All quite normal for May.

Spring's started here now, all bright green leaves and today was really
warm. Your bare branches look very strange.

You're at the same latitude as me but your climate is much milder than the
Canadian Prairies (as I'm sure you know). The *average* high now is in the
mid-teens although now (Thurs afternoon) it's 5C. We didn't get the 25 mm
of rain forecast and now its for 15 cm of snow overnight. If we get it it
won't stay long unlike our last storm in April. We need the water as this
area is normally quite dry. Our wettest month still lies ahead in June.

I think I'll stay right where I am. Right now at 3:58 A.M. it's
63F. Scattered High Cirrus that is being sent to Grumpy, but other than that
rather nice .

Got some of them thar' high cirrus yesterday and managed to keep the
temp just below 90°.
